Before You Lock It In

Palmer's 75% doubt introduces genuine uncertainty about the starting eleven, confirmed by his expected minutes sitting at 45.
Key RiskPalmer doubtful, if he does not start, João Pedro is also flagged at 75%, leaving the bench thin in attack.

Still Live

  • • Palmer fitness, confirm before deadline whether he makes the team sheet.
  • • João Pedro also at 75%, if both are out, the attacking cover off the bench disappears.
  • • Muharemović faces Arsenal away, the toughest fixture in the squad this week, underdogs at 13/2 to win.

Check Before Deadline

  • Palmer team news, 75% doubt, expected minutes 45, needs confirming.
  • João Pedro team news, 75% doubt, also part of the bench calculation.

Saka at home to Leeds, priced at 37/100 to win. Arsenal are heavy favourites. That is the fixture you captain.

Luca Ferretti

Luca Ferretti

Saka operates in the best position on that team sheet. The fixture opens space. The projection confirms what the eye sees.

Klaus Brandt

Klaus Brandt

At 9.5 million and 13.7% ownership, we are acquiring the differential edge. The asset is correctly deployed.

Dr. Rachel Okafor

Dr. Rachel Okafor

Palmer is 75% chance of playing. Expected minutes: 45. The file recommends he does not start. Egan covers the lineup change. We have managed the risk.

MacLeod, Ferretti and Brandt backed Saka on projection; Okafor filed on Palmer's doubt and the lineup change covering for it.

Worth Watching

Jimmy MacLeod

Jimmy MacLeod

Three positions I've been watching this week, and one name in particular is forcing itself into the conversation.

DEFVuskovicbudget

£5.0m · 3.6% owned

Form of 8.7 at 5.0 million makes him the most interesting cheap defender in the game right now. Away to Sunderland is a fixture Brighton can control. If Muharemović keeps drawing tough draws, Vuskovic becomes the conversation.

MIDMbeumopremium

£7.9m · 20.6% owned

Home to Spurs, who sit bottom with two points and a goal difference of minus six. Manchester United are short-priced favourites at 73/100. Mbeumo is the attacking outlet in that game and the fixture is as kind as it gets.

FWDThiagopremium

£7.8m · 9.1% owned

Away to Aston Villa is not straightforward, but at 7.8 million and 9.1% ownership, Thiago offers differential upside in the forward line if Barry's xG gap starts correcting against him.

Behind the decision

CONFIDENCE: MEDIUM

GW6. Two free transfers, a penny in the bank, and one player with a 75% chance of playing who the data says is good for 45 minutes. Routine week, then.

THE CALL

Saka captains. Egan starts in place of Konsa. We hold both transfers.

FORMATION

4-4-2, no change from Luca's shape.

STARTING XI

Raya (ARS), Arsenal at home to Leeds, heavy favourites. Clean sheet probability is real. Data has him nailed.

Van Hecke (TOT), away at Man United, tough draw, underdogs at 16/5. He covers the defensive work. MacLeod notes the ceiling is limited.

Egan (HUL), starts. Konsa drops to the bench. The data flagged a lineup change: Egan's expected minutes are 60 and he is tracking the defensive contribution range. This is not a request, it is the correct call.

De Cuyper (BHA), away at Sunderland, Brighton are 13/10 favourites. Attacking output: a goal and three assists already this season.

Muharemović (LEE), away at Arsenal. Hardest fixture in the squad. Priced at 13/2 to win. Luca noted the ceiling is constrained. He plays because there is no alternative.

Saka (ARS), home to Leeds, Arsenal 37/100 to win. Three goals this season, 3.2 xG. Projects 6.01 points, top of the squad. He is the armband.

Rogers (CHE), home to Bournemouth. Three goals, one assist this season, but his output already exceeds his xG of 1.7. Arjun flagged a potential quiet week ahead. Vice captain carries this risk.

"Rogers is outperforming his xG by a meaningful margin," Arjun said. "I have a chart. The correction tends to come." Noted. He is still the best vice in the squad.

Szoboszlai (LIV), home to Man City, a 5/2 draw, both sides closely priced. Difficult fixture. He starts because the data has him at 60 expected minutes and nothing in the squad improves on him here.

Palmer (CHE), 75% chance of playing, expected minutes 45. Rachel's flag stands.

"The file recommends 45 minutes at most," she said. "The muscular concern is live. If he does not start, we have a problem on the bench."

He is in the XI on the understanding that you confirm his team-sheet status before the deadline. If he is ruled out, João Pedro is the cover and also flagged at 75%. That is the real squeeze this week.

Haaland (MCI), away at Liverpool, 27/20 versus 33/20. Even contest. Five goals this season, 4.4 xG. The armband returns to Saka this week, but Haaland's output needs no defending.

Barry (EVE), away at Hull, Everton favoured at 27/25. His xG of 3.5 is running well ahead of his two goals. The chances are coming. The conversion will follow.

BENCH ORDER

1. Konsa, first sub, 60 expected minutes, covers the defensive line.

2. João Pedro, flagged at 75%, 45 expected minutes. Named second because he is doubtful, not because the output is poor. Three goals and three assists this season.

3. Yalcouyé, limited projected return, covers the midfield slot.

GK: Davies.

Rachel's risk assessment applied. Palmer's doubt is the primary concern and the bench order reflects it.

CAPTAIN

Saka (C), projects 6.01 points this week. Home to Leeds, Arsenal 37/100 to win. Three goals this season, differential at 13.7% ownership. The armband returns to him on the strength of the projection alone.

Rogers (VC), projects 5.50. Home to Bournemouth, Chelsea 73/100 to win. If Saka fails to captain and Rogers fires, we have not wasted the vice. The xG overperformance is the standing caveat.

WHY NOT THE OTHER MOVE?

The case for spending one of the two free transfers is real. The squad is healthy but not perfect: Muharemović faces Arsenal, Van Hecke faces Man United, and holding two transfers into GW7 is a comfortable position. Klaus noted the logic: "The transfer option accumulates value. We do not spend premium capital without the premium upgrade." The squad has no clear affordable improvement that the data supports. Bank both transfers and move from a position of strength next week.
