Every briefing starts with one number.

Here's where to find it.

Your No.2 needs your FPL team ID before it can read your squad, your fixtures, or your mini-league position. It doesn't need your email, your login, or anything else. The team ID is public by design — it's the same number sitting in your browser's address bar every time you check your own team on the official FPL site.

From the official FPL site

  1. Go to fantasy.premierleague.com and log in.
  2. Click "Points" in the top menu.
  3. Look at the address bar. It'll read something like fantasy.premierleague.com/entry/1234567/event/4.
  4. The number straight after /entry/ is your team ID.

From the FPL app

  1. Open the Fantasy Premier League app and go to your Points tab.
  2. Tap the three-dot menu and select "Share Team."
  3. The team ID is the number in the link it generates.

Why not just use your team name?

Because thousands of managers reuse the same one every season. The team ID is the one number that's actually unique to your squad, which is why every FPL tool — including this one — asks for it instead of a name.

If you haven't picked a team yet

You need a squad to have a team ID at all. Build one on the official FPL site first, then come back — the number appears the moment your team exists, win or lose.

What your team ID can and can't do

A team ID is an identifier, not a credential. On its own it can't log into your FPL account, change your squad, or touch your email or password. It only unlocks the same public squad and rank information the FPL app already shows to anyone who knows your team name. Handing it to Your No.2 doesn't hand over your account — it just tells the backroom whose team to read.

Got the number? Drop it into the Verdict or League Verdict box and the backroom takes it from there.
